Hello Mr Moon

Let’s talk moons

Full moon half moon total eclipse (the Jaffa cake advert if you remember)

Ok so let’s talk through the phases and the meanings

New beginnings – time for a clean slate, start to gather your thoughts and plan

Set intentions – send your hopes and desires into the world

Take action – when you face obstacles, do not waver. It’s a time for pushing forward

Refine and hone – observe and align your hopes within the universe

Harvest endeavors – a time to harvest the intentions and wishes of past moons

Introspect – turn inwards. Think about your goals and be grateful

Release and let go – let go of habits that do you no favours

Surrender – recuperate and rest. It’s ok to feel empty sometimes

Then the phases start again

Spiritual lessons

The wonderful Dalai Lama has some wonderful lessons and I wanted to share a few of them with you

  • The purpose of our lives is to be happy
  • Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions
  • Be kind whenever possible. It’s always possible.
  • Wellbeing comes through action, not through prayer.
  • Sleep is the best meditation.
  • Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive
  • In the practice of tolerance, ones enemy is the best teacher.
  • When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect towards others.
  • Where ignorance is our master, there is no possibility of real peace.
  • More compassionate mind, more sense of concern for others wellbeing is the source of happiness.

Thats all for today…Namaste xx

What mindful people do differently

The art of being mindful. Being in the here and now and appreciating everything as it is.

You can always get your head into a state of mindfulness. You just need to know how to get there.

Here are 15 things that mindful people do differently

  1. They don’t take their thoughts too seriously
  2. They don’t try to avoid or deny emotions they just let them happen
  3. They understand all things come and go
  4. They do one thing at a time
  5. They turn everyday tasks into mindful moments
  6. They practice being curious
  7. They get outdoors and embrace the beauty of nature
  8. They enjoy every bite they eat
  9. They slow down when reading and truly take the information in
  10. They are fully present when listening without trying to control or judge
  11. They take mini breaks every hour or so when studying
  12. They laugh at themselves
  13. They focus on what they are doing
  14. They challenge existing beliefs
  15. They nourish their bodies

Learn to not take everything so literal and take it as it is and adjust accordingly but leaving the stress out of it.

Body positivity challenge Day 31

Made it to the end of the month and did it every day… Proud of me 😁

The last day is

Share a photo of you with no make up on.

This is last year but I thought it was funny with my sudocrem on my spots not giving a monkeys ass what I looked like 🙈

How different I look now.

Anyways thank you for following me along this challenge it’s been very uplifting and I think I love my body that bit more than I did before.

I am going to continue to blog on here every day even if its only a random Chit chat or a few lines.

See you in my next post.

Body positivity challenge day 28

Share one of your favourite body confidence quotes

This one really gets you putting your mind into thinking about what you think about you and not what someone on social media is portraying.

I hate the words fat and thin as they make people upset more than uplift.

Skin/body confidence is something you need to own to be a happy chappy.
